What do you like most about your role?

Seeing students develop their group work and communication skills and apply them in an academic setting to achieve their goals.

How would you describe your teaching style?

I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that is fun and engaging and allows students to put their skills and knowledge into practice.

Where else have you worked?

I have taught in Australia, the UK, China and Turkey at language schools and universities. In my career, my primary teaching roles have focussed on developing students’ language capabilities and academic skills. In addition, I am a teacher trainer and have also been involved in corporate training in the ‘soft skills’ (communication skills, conflict and negotiation, customer service, performance management, etc)

Senior Fellow (Advance Higher Education UK), Graduate Diploma Business (Marketing), Vocational Graduate Certificate TESOL, Certificate IV – Training and Assessment, CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults), Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Politics)
