FEE-HELP for Australian Students FEE-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme that assists eligible fee-paying students to pay part of, or all of their tuition fees.
As an approved Higher Education provider, Curtin College is eligible to offer FEE-HELP places for its Diploma programs.
Australian citizens and holders of permanent humanitarian visas are eligible for FEE-HELP assistance.
The following students are NOT eligible for FEE-HELP and must pay their fees upfront:
- New Zealand Special Category Visa (NZ SCV) Holders
- Permanent Visa Holders (other than holders of a permanent humanitarian visa)
- International Students
If you are commencing study of a Curtin College Diploma and wish to pay for part or all of your tuition fees through FEE-HELP, you must:
- read the FEE-HELP Information booklet,
- complete the FEE-HELP Questionnaire,
- complete the FEE-HELP Application form provided with your Letter of Offer,
- return these items with your Letter of Acceptance.
The Education Legislation Amendment (Provider Integrity and Other Measures) Bill 2017 was introduced into the Australian Parliament on 1 June 2017, and passed through the Parliament on 10 August 2017. As part of the Bill all students will have to maintain a minimum pass rate, relevant to the number of units they are enrolled in (not their academic pass rate), to continue using FEE‑HELP for their studies.
Centrelink financial assistance There are many sources of advice and support available if you are a local student having issues of a financial nature.
Youth and student allowances through Centrelink

A concession card may assist you to get cheaper medicines and other discount.
