Colleges of Business and Technology (WA) Pty Ltd trading as Curtin College is registered as an ‘Institute of Higher Education’ provider under the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) – Provider ID PRV12157. TEQSA regulates and assures the quality of Australia’s higher education sector (including universities). As an Institute of Higher Education education provider, Curtin College adheres to these standards.

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework. The AQF was first introduced in 1995 to underpin the national system of qualifications in Australia, which encompasses higher education, vocational education and training and schools.
IHEA is a national industry body that represents a number of Australia’s registered and accredited independent higher education providers, educating domestic and international students. Membership is based on IHEA’s Code of Good Practice which is built on regulatory compliance, strong governance, ethical business models, quality teaching, and student engagement.
The College is also a member of the Western Australian Private Education and Training Industry Association (WAPETIA) – an association of schools and colleges dedicated to fair and ethical conduct and the provision of quality education in Western Australia.

Curtin College is a registered Institute of Higher Education Provider with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) – PRV12157, all Diploma and Graduate Certificate programs are accredited.
All Diploma and Graduate Certificate programs are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutes and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) under code 02042G .
Curtin College is governed by the Colleges of Business and Technology (WA) Pty Ltd Board but as a separate entity relies upon it’s Academic Board to oversee academic governance and quality.
