*Service Taught Units are units where Curtin College students join Curtin University students in the same classroom. This unit builds on an understanding of the fundamentals of physiology and develops students’ knowledge of physical activity and exercise and their relationship to individuals and populations health. The knowledge and skills gained through this unit will enable students to assess an individual’s physical fitness safely, analyse and interpret results and provide basic exercise prescription based on current physical activity guidelines and practices and explain the rationale.
