The Curtin College Academic Bursary grants eligible students an upfront bursary of AUD$ 2,000 for all Curtin College programs, excluding the Master Qualifying Program. This Bursary is only for new international students from Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and it will not extend to your studies at Curtin University.
Terms and Conditions:
- The bursary is only available for new international students commencing a program between June 2025 and March 2026. It is not applicable for students who are switching courses or deferring their acceptance to a future study period.
- Eligible students are entitled to the AUD 2,000 bursary.
- The bursary amount applies exclusively to your first study period. It will be deducted in advance from the tuition fee deposit, which means your offer letter will show an AUD 2,000 reduction in your tuition fee. This bursary is not extendable to subsequent study periods.
- The bursary is not deferrable to any commencements beyond the selected intake.
- This bursary will be revoked if you do not accept your Letter of Offer or enrol into your Curtin College by the dates specified in your Letter of Offer.
- This bursary is not transferable to any other course or at other Curtin University campus.
- The bursary can be revoked at the discretion of Curtin if you already have another scholarship, Bursary or sponsorship.
- Curtin College reserves the right to vary or amend any of these terms and conditions at its discretion.
Conditions to retain the bursary
- If you withdraw, defer, or are terminated from the course, you will not be eligible for the Bursary.
- To retain eligibility for the Bursary (unless there are exceptional circumstances), you must remain enrolled in your initial course at Curtin College.
- You must maintain a full-time enrolment in your study period at the College.
If any of the above conditions are not being met
- The bursary will be rescinded/revoked, and you will be responsible for any outstanding fees
- You will not be eligible for a refund of monies paid to the equivalent value of the Bursary.
How to apply
- No separate bursary application is required. All qualifying applications are automatically assessed for the Curtin College Diploma Pathway – Academic Bursary.
